SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane continued to honor its hometown legend, Bing Crosby, on Saturday, marking the 100-year anniversary since he left the city to pursue a career in entertainment.

The celebration took place at Gonzaga’s Bing Crosby House Museum, where a local author read sections from her new children’s book, “Bing Himself: The Story of Bing Crosby, the World’s First.”

Bing Crosby’s daughter, Mary Crosby, was present at the event, where she emphasized the significance Spokane held for her father.
