SPOKANE, Wash — The Seahawks’ Super Bowl 60 win is one that one local 49ers fan will never forget.
Kenny Raymond is from the Bay Area and has been a 49ers fan his whole life.
He was so confident the Seahawks would lose that he posted on Facebook the morning of the Super Bowl, saying, “If the Seahawks win, I will get Marshawn Lynch tattooed on me.”
The post received more than 100 comments from his friends, not letting him forget his public proclamation, especially when the game ended in the Seahawks’ win.
“I think once the Seahawks got that kind of fumble pick six and kind of blew the game wide open, I was kind of sitting there with in reality with my buddies, and they all stared at me like ‘you’re really getting this tattoo’,” said Raymond.
Raymond said that, although he was getting roasted by his friends, many of them actually chipped in to help pay for the ink.
He said, growing up a 49ers fan, he never imagined himself with a Seahawks tattoo, but so far, he says he does not regret it.
