SPOKANE, Wash. – While airports in northeastern Washington are dealing with snow and ice, Spokane International Airport continues to operate smoothly for travelers.

Nonstop Local photojournalist Thomas Walters visited the airport to capture the scene, speaking with two men who help park cars for travelers. They shared their observations on the situation.

“Business has been steady in the post-Christmas haze,” they said.

Checking the arrivals and departures at Spokane International, there were a few delays. Two flights from Dallas-Fort Worth experienced delays on Saturday evening. There were also delays from Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boise and Minneapolis.

For outbound flights, there were three delays on the routes to Denver, Seattle and Portland.
