
OMAHA, Neb. – A surprising incident unfolded at the University of Nebraska in Omaha when a sinkhole suddenly opened up beneath two vehicles waiting at a traffic light.
Surveillance footage captured the dramatic moment, which fortunately did not result in any injuries.
The driver of a truck managed to escape the vehicle on his own. He, along with some bystanders, assisted the driver of an SUV in getting to safety.
The Omaha Public Works Department confirmed that the sinkhole was caused by a water main break.
