OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported a DUI crash on Saturday involving a single vehicle on State Route 20. The incident occurred around 4:38 p.m.
A Subaru Forester was travelling west near milepost 266 when it swerved off the roadway from the right side, hit a guardrail and stopped along the embankment.
The driver, a 74-year-old man from Tonasket, sustained injuries and was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center. The WSP stated that he was impaired while driving, leading to the crash.
