
PRIEST RIVER, Idaho – Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 2 near Priest River this afternoon.
A white truck, driven by a 45-year-old man from Spokane Valley, drifted off the roadway, crashed into an embankment, overturned and struck a power pole, Idaho State Police said in a release.
The driver was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt during the crash.
Highway 2 was blocked for about four hours as responders, including the Priest River Police Department and Bonner County EMS, worked to clear the scene.
The highway has since reopened.
