PIERCE, Idaho – A single vehicle accident occurred on Browns Creek Rd, roughly five miles from Pierce, Idaho, early on the morning of June 19. Clearwater County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Weippe Ambulance and Pierce Fire, responded to the scene.
The vehicle, a 2008 Ford Explorer, rolled onto its driver side door. Both the driver and the passenger managed to free themselves before responders arrived.
Neither were wearing seatbelts at the time, and both sustained minor head injuries. The passenger was transported to Clearwater Valley Hospital by Weippe Ambulance.
The driver was cited for misdemeanor driving without privileges and driving with expired insurance and registration. The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office stated that the accident is still under investigation.
