MULLAN, Idaho – Sheriff Eddy has announced that a new law enforcement leader will soon be taking charge in Mullan.
Sheriff Eddy said that the incoming leader, Skinner, has lived in Mullan for over five years. Skinner brings with him 20 years of law enforcement experience across multiple agencies.
Much of Skinner’s experience was gained with the Unified Police Department in Salt Lake City. There, he served as a sergeant and was in charge of the region’s backcountry Search and Rescue unit.
Skinner is scheduled to be sworn in on January 2 of next year.
