SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho – While walking a disputed stretch of the West Fork on Pine Creek, Shoshone County Captain Seth Green and Undersheriff Lance Stutzke came across an injured bird. Then they decided to help.

Green and Stutzke saw the bird and noticed it laying on the road but unable to fly. They determined that it was injured.

Green borrowed Stutzke’s jacket to wrap up the bird, which got covered in blood when the bird’s talon pricked Green’s finger.

They nicknamed the bird “Tony Hawk” and brought him to their office to wait for bird rescue.
