
BREWSTER, Wash. – Brewster Police are investigating a shooting during the evening hours of February 6 near Ferry Ave. and S. 3rd St.
Officers found an unoccupied vehicle crashed into a fence with its doors open, said Brewster Police in a release.
While at the scene, officers were informed that a juvenile male had been shot. Before they could assist, additional gunshots were heard a few blocks away.
Police said the shooter fled before officers arrived. The vehicle showed multiple bullet strikes, and shell casings were found on the roadway.
A nearby home was also hit by gunfire, but no one inside was injured.
The injured juvenile was transported to Three Rivers Hospital and later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood for witnesses and surveillance footage.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
