
EPHRATA, Wash. – A shooting at an Ephrata gas station has left one person dead.
Officers responded to the shooting at Hawk Fuel at 7:39 p.m. Sunday and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, Ephrata Police said in a release.
Despite resuscitation efforts by Lifeline Ambulance and Ephrata Fire Department, police said the victim was pronounced dead on site.
Grant County sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect and a suspected accomplice shortly after the incident.
The investigation will be led by a multi-jurisdictional team, the release added.
Police have requested that people avoid the area for the next several hours as it remains an active crime scene.
