CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. – The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) today provided an update on the coordinated search effort for Travis Decker including photos of the triple homicide suspect with an altered appearance.
CCSO said in a release that it continues to work with multiple agencies, including the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), the Washington Army National Guard (WA ANG) and the U.S. Marshals Service as they actively search both on the ground and from the air throughout the region and backcountry areas.
The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office has provided significant resources, drawing on their expertise in locating suspects in wooded areas while the Washington Army National Guard is also contributing with aerial surveillance and personnel transport to remote locations, the release said.
The U.S. Marshals Service is leading the search for Decker, conducting investigations and deploying specialized personnel. A reward of up to $20,000 is being offered for information leading to Decker’s arrest. The suspect accused of killing his three daughters in Chelan County is considered armed and dangerous.
CCSO emphasizes that there is no known threat to public safety, and trails and recreation sites remain open. However, they urge caution and vigilance. If anyone sees Decker, they should call 911 immediately and avoid approaching him.
