SPOKANE, Wash – Next week, people who walk, ride and scooter through Riverfront Park will need to prepare for a detour.
The City of Spokane is doing sewer repair work and will have to close the central portion of the Howard Street Promenade.
That’s the intersection of sidewalks and walkways right in front of the pavilion, between the orange and blue bridges.
Work is scheduled between Monday March 9 and Friday March 13, so pedestrians will need to allow extra time to cross through the park.
