The full list of award winners is available, showing winners from the Puget Sound region, the Inland Northwest region and the Yakima region.
MultiCare Health System said the organization it selected for the grant focused on the “most pressing health challenges” as identified in its Community Health Needs Assessment.
Access to care, behavioral health, food insecurity and other social determinants it determined significantly influence overall health outcomes guided the grant selection.
“MultiCare takes pride in creating a community of health. We know that healthier communities are stronger communities,” said Marce Edwards Olson, vice president and chief marketing and communications officer for MultiCare. “We believe every community deserves a partner in health and healing. Through the Community Partnership Fund, we’re building strong, collaborative relationships that help create healthier, more vibrant communities.”
MultiCare said it launched the Community Partnership Fund in 2014 and has given away over $6.8 million to nonprofits working to make a difference in the lives of Washington residents.
