RENTON, Wash. – Eight-year-old Antonio Rodrigues Junior received a special surprise from the Seattle Seahawks after losing his signed football at the team’s championship parade this month.
Antonio was connected with cornerback Josh Jobe for a memorable moment at the Seattle Seahawks Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, thanks to FOX 13.
Antonio expressed his admiration for Jobe, saying, “He’s a good quarterback and he threw me the ball a lot.”
He also shared his hopes for the future, stating, “I hope they reach out to me whenever I play, whenever they’re like 60.”
Antonio left the event with a signed football and jersey from Jobe. In return, he gifted beaded Seahawks medallions, honoring his family’s Indigenous tradition of giving a gift in gratitude.
