
SEATTLE, Wash. – The Seattle Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP) is set to close the Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses exhibit after 14 years on display.
“After 14 loud, legendary years, Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses is taking its final bow at MOPOP,” the museum wrote on its website. “This landmark exhibition—packed with rare artifacts, smashed guitars, and the sound that shook the world—closes September 7.”
A final celebration is being held on September 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the museum, featuring tours, workshops, DJ performances and panels.
