SEATTLE — Vandal pride is heading to the big leagues. The Seattle Mariners are hosting University of Idaho Day on August 3 at T-Mobile Park.
The new head football coach for the Vandals, Thomas Ford Jr. will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
Vandals fans who purchase tickets through a special U of I offer will receive a limited-edition Vandals-themed Mariners jersey in black and gold. In addition, $5 from each ticket sold will benefit the U of I Alumni Legacy Scholarship.
First pitch is set for 1:10 p.m., just before the Mariners take the field. Tickets are expected to go fast, so fans are encouraged to act quickly and show their Vandal pride in the heart of Seattle.
