SEATTLE, Wash. – In a heartwarming gesture, some four-legged friends brought Valentine’s Day cheer to kids at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Nash and Scarlett, who are part of the hospital’s facility team, made the rounds delivering Valentine’s Day cards. Though not therapy dogs, they are trained to be friendly and approachable, providing comfort to patients.
Kristine Anderson, whose son Oliver is a patient, shared the impact of their visit. “Just kind of helps the spirit a lot, kind of breaks up the day a little bit and just has some loving energy, petting those dogs, seeing Oliver have a big smile on his face,” she said.
The dogs also delivered Valentine’s Day cards with personal notes from the hospital staff, aiming to lift the spirits of kids going through tough times.
