SEATTLE, Wash. – A veteran and devoted Seahawks fan is receiving a special gift to help him enjoy the Super Bowl from his bed in V-A hospice.
Randy Santiago Cruz, 72, originally stationed at Fort Lewis during his service, has been given just days to live after experiencing several health issues in November.
After a story about him aired on our sister station, FOX 13, the Seattle Seahawks decided to present him with a care package for this year’s Super Bowl.
Cruz has influenced three generations of Seahawks fans and remains hopeful about the team’s prospects this year. “I believe this year… the Hawks will be taking home a Super Bowl win,” he said.
