IDAHO – Authorities are warning Idaho residents about potential scams targeting individuals who need a REAL ID. Officials have reported that scammers are offering to expedite the REAL ID process online, but this is not possible.
They urged residents to be cautious if they receive any links from scammers claiming to expedite the process.
Transportation officials advised, “If scammers offer you a link to follow, don’t click on it, just delete the message instead.” This warning aims to protect residents from falling prey to fraudulent activities while ensuring they follow the correct procedures to secure a REAL ID.
