WENATCHEE, Wash. — A Sammamish woman was killed in a crash north of Wenatchee in Chelan County Tuesday afternoon.
Sylvia Harrison, 70, died in a crash on State Route 97 midway between Wenatchee and the small community of Wagnersburg, according to a release from the Washington State Patrol.
Two cars were involved in the collision, which also sent a 77-year-old Cashmere man and a 68-year-old Sammamish man to the hospital. All three people involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts, according to police.
A state patrol release said the car that Harrison wasn’t in crossed over the center line and hit Harrison’s car head-on. Harrison was a passenger and police didn’t share what may have caused the crash.
