Rockslide risk causes road closure in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — A rockslide risk has closed Vantage Road SW in Grant County until further notice.

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, this closure affects the road west of Silica Road SW. Deputies are notifying people who may be impacted at the Frenchman Coulee Recreation Area.

The Sheriff’s Office says if you are in the recreation area, please leave so you don’t get blocked by a rockslide.
