Rockslide, big boulders cause closures on State Route 155 near Steamboat Rock State Park

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – A rockslide near Steamboat Rock State Park closed a lane of State Route 155 on Friday night.

The Washington Department of Transportation said one of the rocks that fell was so large, it would need blasting to break it before it could be cleared.

The department said the highway would operate with auto-flagger controlled traffic and delays until clean up and repairs finished.
