Riverside State Park offers all-terrain wheelchair for mobility device users

SPOKANE, Wash. – Riverside State Park is now offering a new opportunity for individuals who use mobility devices. Starting this week, the park has made an all-terrain, motorized Action Trackchair available for use.

Visitors can book a 90-minute slot to use the Trackchair on two trails within the Trautman Conservation Area. Slots are available on Mondays and Fridays, with one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Reservations are required, and the chair’s operation will be canceled if temperatures fall below 25° or if there is more than 4 inches of snow. To book a timeslot or for more information, visitors can contact the park office at (509) 465-5064.
