WENATCHEE, Wash. – RiverCom 911, which coordinates emergency dispatch services in Chelan and Douglas counties, announced in a press release it has purchased a new building facility on Euclid Way in Wenatchee.

Currently, RiverCom 911 operates out of the Wenatchee Police Department.

Renovations on the facility are expected to cost around $8.5 million, which RiverCom 911 touted as significant savings compared to the “estimated $24.5 million required to construct a new facility.”

The facility is expected to be completed with renovations in early 2027.

The agency plans to sell off a 12-acre property in East Wenatchee purchased in 2025 to fund the renovations and offset impacts to taxpayers.

“This investment ensures we can keep pace with the growing emergency 911 needs of Chelan and Douglas counties,” RiverCom 911 Executive Director Doug Jones said.
