A recall has been issued for more than 600,000 retro-style Frigidaire mini refrigerators due to burn and fire hazards. The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall, citing serious safety concerns.

The refrigerators, sold nationwide from 2020 through 2023 at Walmart stores, Walmart online and Amazon, have already caused injuries and property damage. Two people have been injured and 26 incidents of overheating have led to hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.

Consumers who own these units are urged to unplug the fridge immediately. Curtis International, the manufacturer, is offering refunds to affected customers.

For more information, consumers can contact Curtis International directly.
