The Nespelem Valley Electric Co-op announced a power outage due to damaged transmission lines from the Kaiser Fire, affecting Nespelem, Colville Agency, Buffalo Lake Road, Owhi Flats and Joe Moses Road areas.
Residents should prepare for an extended outage.
State Route 155 is currently closed from Lower Columbia River Road south to Peter Dan Road.
A Level 2 alert, urging residents to be ready to evacuate, remains in effect for the Colville Tribe Agency area.
OKANOGAN, Wash. The Mount Tolman Fire Center has issued a Level 2 advisory for a fire burning south of the Colville Confederated Tribes (CCT) Agency in Nespelem, near Kaiser Canyon and east of State Route 155.
According to a release by Okanogan County Emergency Management (OCEM), State Route 155 is closed from Lower Columbia River Road to Peter Dan Road.
Mt Tolman Fire Center has issued a Level 2 ‘Be Ready’ evacuation notice for the Colville Tribe Agency area.
Emergency crews are responding and individuals should remain vigilant of their surroundings. “Do not wait for door-to-door notification, take action if needed,” the advisory emphasized.
