
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – The popular toy character Labubu may be heading to the big screen with director Paul King at the helm. King, known for his work on “Paddington” and “Paddington 2,” is rumored to direct the new feature film.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the project is in its early stages and still requires a writer. Sony is collaborating with Chinese retailer and brand owner Pop Mart for the adaptation.
Paul King’s involvement promises to bring a unique vision to the film as the project continues to develop.
