SPOKANE, Wash. — Rep. Michael Baumgartner is praising President Trump’s decisions in the Middle East following the administration’s decision to attack Iran on Friday night.
“No one should be dismissive of the threats we are up against, but all Americans should appreciate the leadership and capability being shown by Trump, Sec Rubio and Joint Chiefs Chairman Caine as well as the brave troops, intelligence personnel and diplomats that they lead.,” Rep. Baumgartner said on X/Twitter.

“When Donald Trump first came down the escalator, I thought he would be naive and foolish on foreign policy, instead he’s turned out to be America’s most strategic and consequential Commander in Chief since Eisenhower. Starting with the elimination of Soleimani and the Abraham accords he has been conducting a master class in dealing with America’s many security challenges in the Middle East. No one should be dismissive of the threats we are up against, but all Americans should appreciate the leadership and capability being shown by Trump, Sec Rubio and Joint Chiefs Chairman Caine as well as the brave troops, intelligence personnel and diplomats that they lead.”
