Ramp reopened after hydraulic fluid spill near Liberty Lake

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – A commercial vehicle incident east of Liberty Lake caused a partial road blockage on Monday, May 12. The vehicle blew a hydraulic line, spilling about 30 gallons of fluid on the offramp near W90 Port of entry.

According to a release from Washington State Police, the ramp will remain closed until the cleanup is complete. The Department of Transportation is already at the scene with a sand truck to manage the spill.

The estimated time for reopening the ramp is currently unknown.

The Washington State Patrol has confirmed that no drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident. Additionally, there are no injuries reported among WSP personnel or others involved.

Drivers are urged to remain cautious in the area as cleanup efforts continue. A detour is in place to redirect traffic away from the affected offramp.
