Quincy-area police chase ends in arrest over the weekend

QUINCY, Wash. – A 20-year-old was arrested after a police chase in the Quincy area over the weekend.

On Sunday, a Washington State Patrol trooper reported a dark colored sports car driving west on SR-28 toward Quincy that seemed to be going over 90 miles-per-hour.

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, a black 2011 Jaguar XF was seen parked at a gas station in Quincy that did not have license plates that matched the car.

The driver of the car backed out of the gas station and deputies along with Quincy Police followed it.

Eventually, the pursuit ended when the Jaguar broke down.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, third-degree driving with a suspended license and DUI.
