COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The community came together to honor fallen heroes in a heartfelt 40-mile procession from Spokane to Coeur d’Alene.
Kootenai County Fire and Rescue expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support shown during the procession. “As Fire Chiefs you never fully understand, appreciate or can define community support until you see it,” they said.
The procession, marking a significant step in laying the heroes to rest, witnessed every bridge overpass, exit and street filled with people showing respect through signs, flags, and cheers.
