WENATCHEE, Wash. – A memorial service will be held on June 20 at Rocky Reach Park for the three children who were murdered in Chelan County.
After police discovered the bodies of Paityn Decker, 9, Olivia Decker, 5, and Evelyn Decker, 8, near a Leavenworth campground, the Wenatchee community was deeply impacted by grief.
Tens of thousands of donors have reportedly contributed to the Decker family since the initial report of the children’s deaths shocked people throughout the region and the county.
The service is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., and is open to public. Attendees have been asked to carpool to the event, due to limited parking availability.
