SPOKANE, Wash. – Demonstrations are expected to take place nationwide on Friday, with tens of thousands of protesters anticipated to gather in response to the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
Organizers of the “National Shutdown” are urging people to refrain from work, school and shopping to send a message to Washington, D.C.
Spokane is among the cities included in the list of planned demonstrations, with some local businesses already participating.
