SPOKANE, Wash. – Protesters gathered in Riverfront Park to voice their opposition to recent U.S. actions in Iran.

Around 100 people attended, carrying signs that read “No War” and chanting about redirecting funds from bombings to healthcare and housing.

“It’s been really clear, like there’s a lot of political movement in Spokane right now, and people are really upset, people are really angry, and people are ready to fight back and to mobilize and to fight for working class rights,” one protester stated.

The protest lasted for an hour and a half. Many passing drivers showed their support by honking their horns. There was also a single counter-protester present.
