President Trump discusses efforts against Antifa in roundtable

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Trump is focusing on cracking down on left-wing groups, specifically targeting the anti-fascist movement known as Antifa.

The president aims to designate Antifa as a terrorist organization. He hosted a roundtable with administration officials and conservative influencers to discuss this initiative.

The White House has recently pointed fingers at Antifa for protests in Portland near an ICE facility and in Chicago against immigration enforcement.

“They have been very threatening to people, but we’re gonna be very threatening to them, far more threatening to them than they ever were with us, and that includes the people that fund them, probably some of the people I know some of the people I dine with, but if they do, they’re in deep trouble, so we’re gonna be looking very strongly at the people that are funding these operations,” President Trump stated.

Experts have mentioned that Antifa is more of an ideology without a clear leadership structure rather than a traditional group.
