COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — A Post Falls man was arrested for making threats against the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Post Falls Police Department.
According to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, officers received tips around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday that 33-year-old Ryan McClintock was making statements on Facebook calling for gangsters and people who were not afraid to die to “go and take the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Post Falls Police Department.”
McClintock then posted a video saying he was on his way to the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and all good officers needed to leave.
Just after 6:30 p.m., McClintock was reportedly smashing out windows at the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement contacted McClintock as he was walking away from the Sheriff’s Office.
He was taken into custody without incident.
McClintock was booked into the Kootenai County Jail on felony charges for malicious injury to property and terroristic threats.
