
PATEROS, Wash. – A pedestrian was killed after being hit by two different cars on State Route 97 on Saturday night, one of which fled the scene.
According to Washington State Patrol, the pedestrian was in the roadway when the crash occurred at around 7:16 p.m.
A Chevrolet Silverado first hit the pedestrian in the northbound lane, according to WSP. Then a second, unknown vehicle struck the pedestrian in the southbound lane and continued southbound, fleeing the scene.
There were no other reported injuries.
