OLYMPIA – Sen. Nikki Torres (R-Pasco) is paying tribute to the Seattle Seahawks historic Super Bowl season with Senate Resolution 8683.
“This team gave our state something truly special to celebrate,” said Torres in a release. “From start to finish, the Seahawks played with discipline, heart and unity.”
The resolution also recognizes the Seahawks’ commitment to community service and youth engagement programs throughout Washington.
“The Seahawks reminded us that excellence is built day by day,” Torres said. “In a year when people needed something to rally around, this team brought pride, joy and a sense of shared accomplishment to our state.”
The resolution will be read on the Senate floor on Tuesday, February 10, Torres said.
