
WASHINGTON – Governor Bob Ferguson and Washington Secretary of Transportation Julie Meredith gave update on repairs on State Route 2 Friday after it was damaged in recent flooding.
The Washington Department of Transportation will reopen the eastern portion of of State Route 2 between Leavenworth and Stevens Pass on Monday.
A pilot car will be used for about eight miles up to the summit from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Detours and the pilot car are expected to be in operation for a month.
Another update on State Route 2 will come from Gov. Ferguson on Tuesday from Skykomish at 10:00 am.
