
TWIN FALLS, Idaho – A paraglider who crashed in the Snake River Canyon was rescued on Saturday, July 12, thanks to a coordinated effort by local emergency services.
The Twin Falls Fire Department, alongside Magic Valley Paramedics, Twin Falls Search & Rescue, Twin Falls Police Department and the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the scene.
The paraglider was treated and airlifted from the canyon to a regional trauma center in about 40 minutes, the Twin Falls Fire Department said in a release.
No injuries were reported among the responders or others involved in the operation.
