One of two victims identified in deadly shooting at Spokane’s Glenrose neighborhood

The Spokane County Medical Examiner has identified one of the men who died as Terrance Wallette, 37.

Wallette’s cause of death was confirmed as multiple gunshot wounds.

The medical examiner has ruled the manner of death as homicide.

Sergeant Teresa Fuller with the Spokane Police Department (SPD) shared more details from the scene of the shooting.

According to Fuller, SPD received reports of gunshots in the 4300 block of East 34th Avenue at approximately 8:46 p.m. on Wednesday.

After law enforcement arrived, two adult males were pronounced dead on the scene, while a third adult male was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. All injuries sustained during the incident resulted from apparent gunshot wounds, Fuller reported.

“Everybody that was involved, it looks like they’re accounted for, and there’s nobody outstanding at this point,” Sergeant Fuller stated. “Major Crimes is now on scene, so we’ll be looking at it through the night.”

Fuller added that the individuals involved in the incident appeared to be acquaintances.

SPD said that there is no current indication of additional threats to the community.

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred near the Glenrose neighborhood.

The shooting took place on Wednesday night in the area of East 34th Avenue.

SPD has not yet released any details as the investigation started within the last hour.
