OMAK, Wash. – The Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) has announced two key events aimed at supporting veterans and their families in Okanogan County.
The Women Veterans Forum, organized by the Women Veterans Advisor Committee, is scheduled for July 23 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. This forum invites women veterans to discuss their needs and explore how the WDVA can provide equitable access and support.
Following the forum, a Veterans Town Hall will take place from 10 to 12:30 a.m. Presented by the Governor’s Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee, this event will feature discussions with community partners and service providers about available programs and services for veterans and their families.
Both events will be hosted at the Omak Elks Lodge #1742, located at 110 Ash Street South in Omak, Washington. For those unable to attend the Town Hall in person, a Zoom option is available. Participants joining via Zoom can still engage by commenting and asking questions.
