
OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. – Okanogan County will transition from a burn restriction to a full county-wide burn ban on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 12:01 a.m., the county announced in a release.
The ban prohibits all outdoor burning of combustible materials. This includes recreational fires, yard vegetation or waste, non-emergency agricultural burning, exploding gun targets, bullet tracer rounds, and charcoal.
However, propane fire pits are allowed under the new ban.
Residents are urged to comply with these regulations to ensure public safety and prevent wildfires.
