ODESSA, Wash. – Members of the Odessa Police Department recently held a career workshop for students of the Davenport School District.

During the workshop, students were given soda cans with fingerprints on them. They learned how to lift these fingerprints and transfer them to clean slides, providing a hands-on experience in forensic techniques.

The event also included a discussion about careers in law enforcement. This allowed students to gain insights into the industry and explore potential career paths.

The workshop aimed to educate and inspire students interested in a future in law enforcement.
