HAYDEN, Idaho – Northern Lakes Fire Chief Pat Riley is stepping down after a career spanning nearly three decades.
Riley began his journey in firefighting in 1996. Reflecting on his time as chief, he described it as “the honor of his life.”
“Since the day I joined in 1996 — this career has given me more than I could ever repay lifelong friendships… unforgettable experiences… and the opportunity to serve something greater than myself,” Riley stated.
He also expressed gratitude towards the board, his staff and local firefighters, acknowledging their dedication.
Riley’s leadership played a significant role in shaping the Hayden-Rathdrum community.
