SPOKANE, Wash. — Protesters have gathered in Spokane as part of the nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations, coinciding with Spokane Pride.
The protests, organized by opponents of President Trump’s agenda, are taking place in hundreds of cities across the country. They come in response to recent federal immigration raids, including in Los Angeles, where President Trump deployed the National Guard and U.S. Marines despite opposition from California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The protest is taking place at the Red Wagon in Riverfront Park, located at the corner of Spokane Falls Boulevard and Washington Street. .
