COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Protesters in Coeur d’Alene are taking part in the nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations.

The protests, organized by opponents of the president’s agenda, are being held in hundreds of cities across the country. They come in response to recent federal immigration raids, including in Los Angeles, where President Trump deployed the National Guard and U.S. Marines despite opposition from California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

In Coeur d’Alene, the demonstration is taking place at the Highway 95 and Appleway Avenue interchange. It is scheduled to run from noon to 3 p.m.

Another protest is planned in Spokane, beginning at 4 p.m. at the Red Wagon in Riverfront Park, located at the corner of Spokane Falls Boulevard and Washington Street, according to organizers.
