DALLAS, Texas – Nico Harrison, the general manager of the Dallas Mavericks and a former Montana State Bobcat, recently shared insights following the NBA draft. The Mavericks, holding the first pick of the 2025 NBA Draft, selected forward Cooper Flagg.
In January, Harrison discussed his impressive journey from growing up in Spokane to reaching his current position. He attended school in Portland and Seattle and graduated from Montana State.
“I’m thankful of it. But I also think I’m hopeful that people from Montana are proud that one of their own is, you know, doing things on a big stage,” Harrison said.
