NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho – Nez Perce County has announced the closure of R-330 Road, also known as Cottonwood Creek Road, at the George Creek Crossing near George Grade. The closure will take place from November 3 through December 16.
Work crews will replace the George Creek culvert crossing with a new open bottom structure that will facilitate fish passage. This project is funded by grants awarded to Nez Perce County from federal sources.
The construction requires the removal of the entire roadway at this location. Travelers are advised to find alternative routes and plan for extended travel time.
